Salary, that is. He (or she!) also is provided a residence, all meals,
serving staff, and security. AND travel expenses, a country home (Camp
David), top rate health care with no co-payments or costs at all. etc. etc.
You may recall that it cost us on the order of 60 million dollars for the
President's recent little jaunt to China. To say that he receives ONLY 200K
per annum is laughable, considering the perks of the office and their dollar
value. It would be more accurate to say that his salary "package", incuding
benefits (which was the case on the Ratcliffe story), is on the order of
$15 -20 million per year. Or more. (don't forget all the salaries and
benefits for Secret Service, housekeepers, etc) And a President only has to
serve four years to get a lifetime pension with a lot of those perks
continued (like security coverage).

RE: BSA salaries generally - if there were no professionals (as B-P himself
preferred), there would be no salaries. Consider that.
