In all reality, nothing is stopping you from dong the same now. If you
think about it, all you really need to do is make a chat schedule. Say
like, as on AOL, every sunday on the Scoutlink there is a leader's chat
and publisize it here. That is really all that the AOL Scout Chat has
over the IRC Channels, organization.
If Scoutlink would do it, or if you can make the channels yourself, you
could make several channels with Leaders, Scouts, Comissioners, etc.
just like AOL has.
Scoutlink does have the Scouting channel and the last time I went there,
there was a bunch of Scouts just dying to chat with others. So it is
there, it just needs to be organized.
But don't ask me to do it as I am not one for chatting. I run out of
things to say after 10 minutes.
