I think that we, as leaders, need to look in the mirror before throwing
stones at others glass houses. As role models, we have plenty to do to
improve ourselves, and worry about our own personal influence on boys. I can
gaurentee that our own actions will have greater influence on the boys we
work with than the President's behavior. This includes leader's smoking,
swearing, "gray area" sexual comments, ect. When I was a boy leaders would
hide in their tent and drink beer. Some role modeling.
These are just some obvious examples of the negative influence we can
project. The point, of course, is that many leaders set bad examples, and
these are within our control to change.
