>When selecting "trainers" for say JLT, SMF and Wood Badge - is it more
important to have staff with good Leadership traits and skills or those
who have good TEACHING skills? You can't always get both in one
Staff selection for JLT I have no experience with.
However, with regard to the other two, I will say quite honestly that I
always looked for better teachers, than someone with good leadership
skills. But, here is where Team-Teaching shines also. One Trainer might
be an excellent teacher, while their counterpart has outstanding
leadership traits. The combination is priceless. We used to call this
having the best of both worlds, something course directors live for.
