I know this might not help with old things that are raveling, but as a
preventative measure in the future....
Go to a fabric or craft store (or that section in Wal-Mart), and buy a
bottle of Fray Check. It is a liquid in a squeeze bottle you can apply
to the edges of the awards. I think this will keep the arrow points in
good enough condition to transfer later on.
You might try using it to treat the edges of old AP's, though. After it
is set, maybe trim off the stray strings. I haven't tried it, though,
so I am not speaking from experience on this.
Hope I haven't stated something obvious. Now if someone could direct me
to a product that I can put on the back of TC paw prints to increase the
time they stick.... I heard that is a problem, and Wonder Under web
would be probably too much hassle.
