In St. Louis, where I just moved from, we were fortunate to have a close
link between the local orienteering club and Scouting. They not only
provided training on how to use the local Scout camp's permanent course and
set up courses of your own, but they also put on an annual meet for Scouts
and Scouters. It was a lot of fun--Scouts (and leaders) enjoyed it a lot
more than doing the camp's permanent course.
