Gifts for Webelos Scouts

She's looking to spend $30/webelos Scout. I'm guessing that this is money
these boys have earned, and she wants them to get some use out of it as Boy
Scouts. First off, see what the Boy Scout troop will be providing at
graduation/cross over. We don't want duplication. That said, I'd see about
getting some kind of campership gift certificate. Maybe something could be
worked out with your council. Making a nice little certificate that says
you can spend $xx at the local office for merchandise or uniform needs or
even camp fees. With the crossover, there is usually a lot of expense.
I've got my second year boy still in blues because they fit. So, I know
that I have a LOT of expenses come February. And, my budget is tight, with
one adult working and the other going to graduate school, and let's not
Scouting is like Love; the more you share, the more you have.
