There were tapouts. My shoulder's still hurt and I was tapped out in 69.
For three years after that I did the tapping. The tapout chief's goal was to
hit the kid so hard his knees buckled. The kids's goal was to not grimace.
My shoulder's still hurt, but I will never forget that night and what it
meant to me.
