No, I already investigated the possibility it might be my
e-mail program. Messages sent directly to me and to the list
at the same time showed up in full and blank respectively.
That means the problem occurs as part of the list server's
mail processing. The list server is programmed to process
plain text files and apparently has problems with Mime and
Rich Text. That's why plain text is required.
BTW, Internet Explorer also allows you to view the page
source. Just click on properties.
