The sash comes in at least two lengths. We usually have to trade them
around right after they are given out to get the right size on the right
boy. If it is an Ordeal sash they will wear it only about a year so I
would make it shorter or find a tall kid with a short sash and trade. If
it is a brotherhood sash which they will wear for several years I would
take a tuck in it at the top and the bottom to keep the arrow centered and
let them out as the Scout grows.
