Here is what I know from a trip to PTC last week, and visiting with
two volunteers from national Cub Comm.
boys already in older books continue on with books
they already have.
individual council call whether they sent back old
books and are stocking only new books, or whether
they are still selling the prior versions of Wolf
a den leader faced with boys who moved up at end
of last school year, and boys who join, with new
books, at this school year, has a touch of extra
paperwork since requirements do differ some
(was told no major changes, bgut haven't seen new
short version, the boy advances on the book he has.
As for Webelos, new books come out late winter or
early spring in 1999. No exisitng Webelos Scout
needs to back up on any completed activity pin if
