You would not believe my first run with Ritilin. When I was a Cubmaster,
I never even heared of the drug and I had a boy in my Webelos Den on
Ritilin. We were at a Camporee and the the boy sneezed and blood gushed
(I mean GUSHED) all over his shirt, you could wring blood from his
neckerchief. I freaked, got the medic and all was fine. When I told the
parents, all they said was "Oh, he had one of his nose bleeds?"
A parent told me later this was a side effect of Ritilin. I am sitting
there thinking about the parents "Thanks for telling me!" On none of my
paperwork was Ritilin even mentioned. And even then I would have been
happy to be sat down and given a lesson. Hey I ain't no medic!
