The list needs to know that I seriously resent this implication. NO ONE
has ever suggested rejecting kids at the door.
Once we get beyond the self righteousness, posturing and political
correctness you need to understand that I (and others) are volunteers. I
"ain't" trained for it and I "ain't willing to take responsibility for
solving problems that a parent (or guardian) either refuses to acknowledge
or won't help solve. I don't want any kid to miss out on the "Scouting
Opportunity" but I got to tell you that there are some kids who just need
and demand more attention than I can provide and still give leadership to
the rest of the group.
.....and it "ain't" getting any better but that's a whole 'nother thread.
