Being in the same situation (in fact I am now an adult in the same
troop I once was a member of) I agree that we need to let the Scouts
make their own choices, and learn from them, even if we do not agree
with the choice.
If we eliminate OA election, do we also eliminate the Scouts' chance
to select Senior Patrol Leader?
