One thing that needs to be put on the contraban list for summer camp
is "Cell Phone". You might not think this would happen that a parent
would allow a first year scout to take a cell phone to camp. But, it
happened. The scout came out of his tent and said his mom was on the
phone and wanted to talk to one of the adults. We were supprised when
he handed us a cell phone. His mother said he had been calling alot
and wanted to go home. Of course she realized her mistake and said
it wouldn't happen again. The scout went home. I guess next time it will
be pocket internet or something else we haven't thought of.

P.S. This was the first time in 19 years as an adult leader that
I have had a scout go home because he was home sick.
