You are going to one heck of a Boy Scout Leader.
Hopefully you have someone in training.
A couple of dry runs so you BOTH get to hear and
feel how EACH boy is going to perform. =

Have the boy FOCUS on talking to YOU not the room
Stand someplace, not too obvious to the audience,
and KEEP him in contact with "YOU" or SOMEONE
else he is really comfortable with.

Some boys are going to have these problems and =
without experts assisting, you will have to
do the best you can do and assure them THEY =
did a darn good job.

I never got out my addition to the Wet Tent Tread.
It was a great reply that added to UK-Ians' and a
few others yet never got past the Draft state.
I love sleeping and staying dry in 2"/hr downpours
with any old troop tent. Living where I do I better
know how to sleep and scout in heavy rain. One good
soaking years ago was one too many.=
