I can give you two sources of information for back copies of Boys Life
Here at Northern Illinois University we have a partial collection
(1974-1988) part of which is incomplete.
However, the mother lode of Boys Life issues is housed at University of
Illinois at Urbana, Illinois. They have a standing order for Boys Life
and their collection goes all the way back to 1911. They should have the
complete collection, with the possible exception of a few missing issues.
For interlibrary loan you should contact Lynn Wiley at 217/333-1958.
You probably already know this, but for indexing Boys Life you can use
"Children's Magazines" which indexes 1911-1981, then "Children's Magazine
Guide" for indexing 1981-present.
"Children's Magazine Guide is published by:
RR Bowker; telephone 1-800/521-8110 (ISSN 0743-9873)
Good luck on your research.
