As others have stated.....WRONG, The 18th birthday is the time limit.
One other thing, watch out for youthful counselors on Friday, especially
the last week that the camp is open for the summer. They will often have
their girlfriends show up, and they get in a hurry to finish up so they can
spend some quality time with the girl, but they don't get all their work
done. My son was a victim of that 2 years ago, when he finished the work
on one merit badge, but the counselor failed to sign off on the last
requirement, so he still does not have that badge. He went to national
Jamboree last year, but wanted to finish that badge this year at summer
camp. He was told that he could not because "all partials expire in one
year." We know that is wrong, but it is too late now to fix it, and you
can't argue with someone who has that opinion anyway.
