I'm glad to hear we're not the only ones who have patrols that can't seem
to settle on a name. We've got one patrol that's been at various times in
the last 4 years:
- Flaming Arrows
- Pyromaniacs (Same patch)
- Mushroom Men (Home made patch ... a little mushroom character)
- Odd Ducks (After the Scoutmaster in the next site referred to them as
that ... no patch, too short lived.)
Now they've decided to change it again, but are still debating to what.
Leading candidate so far is "Boxer Shorts". They all wear them. It's a
little odd, but as long as they're willing to make a new flag (they say one
advantage is they can BUY a flag for this), I guess there's no harm. It
has stayed together far better than the other patrol founded that same year
(4 years ago), losing only 1 of the original 8. They DO have fun.
