Today, I visited my council's Scout Shop and purchased a copy of the
BSA's "Passport to High Adventure" (Item # 4310) guidebook for $13.95.
This is a 151-page booklet which provides a great deal of information on
selecting, planning and carrying out a high adventure trip. The ten

Wrapping Up Your Adventure
There is information on 55 council sponsored high adventure programs
which meet BSA "high adventure" standards plus another 14 "specialty
adventures" which don't meet all of the criteria established by the BSA
but are still very nice adventures.
A map of the United States and Canada is provided which shows the
location of each adventure. In addition, there is an appendix which
contains the forms needed to carry out a high adventure trip.
This is a very nice booklet and one that I highly recommend if you are
involved with your unit's high adventure program.
