You miss the point about uniforms. The Key word is UNIFORM as in same,
alike, etc. Scoutmasters frequently use the Old Sports analogy, "Can you
play for your (fill in the sport) team if you are not in uniform?"
Uniforms are the same except for the organizational awards that
specificlly set people apart for job or achievement. And It Looks NEAT!
How sloppy is an extra sash. There is a uniform Guide. If everybody
would just read it and follow it, we wouldn't have these discussions
