While we are all hot and bothered about sashes, I
would like to ask a couple (2) questions about knots.
The quotes are from Mike Walton's excellent site.
I am not slamming on Mike, its just that my questions
were prompted by his site.
"The Commissioners' Award of Merit is presented to
unit, Assistant District, District, Assistant Council,
and the Council Commissioner that have served activily
as a registered commissioner for at least five years,
have completed the Commissioner training courses,
received the Arrowhead Honor Award, and whose
units/District/Council has achieved a level of quality
through the BSA's Quality Unit/District/Council
program. The award consists of a plaque and boloties
for informal wear. Member's of Exploring's Service
Teams at the Council and District/Division level are
also eligible for this award. "
What about Roundtable Commissioners (Boy/Cub)??
"Also considered poor taste is the wearing of more than
15 square knots, even though the uniform shirt can
accommodate up to 18 emblems. "
Forgetting for the moment that I'm sure my 3X could
handle more than 18, and that I have only 9, I must
Considered in poor taste by whom? Why?
OK that was 2 questions disguised as one. Sue me 8-)
