One is inclined to say that if giving a badge to be worn on the uniform
motivates a Scout to recruit another Scout (and it does!) for heaven's sake
let's give out the badges. And if giving a badge to wear on the uniform
movtivates an adult, then let's give them badges too.
In fact, if what we need to do to motivate youth and adults to recruit is to
give out purple crocodiles, then I will happily go out hunting purple
