I have gotten two different kinds of poly tarps. The blue ones did wear out
very quickly, and the first thing to go were the grommets. I had much
better luck with the green ones - I have used one of them for 6 years, but I
must emphasize here the usage "I", not "the Scouts". However, I can
recommend the B.S.A. nylon tarps. We bought a couple of them and have used
them every month for a year now with no signs of wear. We had a snowstorm
(4") once and they had no problem at all with it.
