True deet is effective. People like options. Dentists still put in
murcury fillings. Hey only 1-2% "officially" have symtomatic reactions.
Ever live thru murcury poisoning with someone who's trying to survive it ?
ADA has backed off that one to the point of having dentists read between
the lines as far as supporting any liability questions, as in a lot of
words to say, "We're not saying anything, but you're on your own."
I carry deet with me, too. Why nuke when a whisper will do? Plus, you're
soaped up for the shower and don't even feel it. It does a lot of other
things so I have to carry less, all in all.
It's not worth getting worked up about. It's just information for options.
