we have had some pretty heavy duty discussions lately, so courtesy of my
good friend who is an over the road trucker, I wanted to share a story
about the justice system in our country.
seems there was this young man, about 15 years old, bent on mischief one
night. he went down to the freeway overpass near where he lived, got a good
size rock, tied the rock onto the end of a long rope, and hung it over the
rail. when a car came by, he would drop the rock and smack the windshield
of the unfortunate victim.
Of course, cars were going off the road, no one could quite figure out what
was going on. then a truck came by and the kid figured he was going to
score a big one. well, unfortunately the rope did not hit the wind shield
of the truck; instead, it got tangled up with the side mirror on the truck
and before the kid could let go of the rope, his arm was pulled off.
the cops took the kid to the hospital, and the trucker to jail!
man, what a justice system. why did they took the trucker to jail?
It was armed robbery!!
