Joe first off my hat is tipped to your patience!
I have throught the years had problems such as:
An ASM I didin't really want but got himself onto troop adults reg. and when I
would not use him at camp went to webeloes camp (his son was a first year camp
and webeloes camp at the time ran the same week) and then spent parts of week
DRIVING his son around camp to try to get him to complete as many MBs as he
could so he could beat HIS OWN records.
A wife, husband, and dog who showed up unexpectantly and barely (no pun
intended) caught me in change from swim trunks to regular clothes.
Other couples who show up unannouned.
Mom's who sent about 10 lbs of candy in the mail for her son
Parents showing up early without telling the SM that their son was leaving
and on and on and on
I have got to the point of telling parents in letters early on and after
dropping off there sons specific times the can and cannot visit. Some are
offended but seem to always understand when I go into more detail. This camp
has about 1000 scouts a week so how can you even consider an open door
