Couldn't have put it better myself ( although, you know that your going
straight to Hell for decking that guy in church LOL.).
I know from my own experience as a scout that we were learning song of a more
vulgar nature at camp than the ones you described. And let's not forget thye
dirty jokes told around the campfire when the adults weren't around. But then
again, I suppose that that's all part of the life exploration we do as we grow
I wouldn't get hung up on the word "satire" either. "Satire", "spoof",
"parody", these are all words that are similar in meaning in that they all
give us a way to question the (forgive the 60's-70's expression)
"establishment". This is a very healthy thing to do AND very patriotic (see
the 1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States).
Sorry, there I go again. I didn't mean to get on my soapbox. I just wanted
to tell you, "well said and thank you".
