I totally agree. I'm a toucher and a firm believer that ALL we humans
need positive, affectionate contact. I know I do. I also know there
ARE some people who don't like to be touched and if I perceive that's
the case, I won't touch.
Otherwise I have been known to ruffle hair, squeeze cheeks, give hugs,
and touch faces, shoulders, backs, arms & hands (including but not
limited to Cub Scouts, Parents and co-workers). I have yet to have
anyone, adult or child, shrink from me or ask me not to touch them.
Until that happens I will continue to give physical support when and
where appropriate. (Which can be almost anywhere, almost anytime)
