Only 42 hours until Webelos resident camp!
I need this as much as the boys do I think.
Anyway, point of this post is I'm either tongue
tied or brain fried. I plan to tell the boys
at our campsite campfire about B-P, but with a
stronger focus on his younger days, e.g., telling them about a young
man who did not have the opportunity to be a Scout at their age.
Now the toungue tied, brain fried part. I know Green Bar Bill's book
on B-P talks of how his family called him Stephe, but I'm clueless on
the correct pronunciation.
Is "Stephe" pronounced Ste-FE or is it StE-Ve
Any help would be appreciated. They have minds like traps, and if I
get it wrong, I'll be hearing about it
til long after the cows come home.
