"No touching" kinda makes it tough to do a scout handshake<g>, much less
administer first aid, teach archery, teach rifle skills, yadayadayada. I
suspect there is a bit of confusion here somewhere.
OTOH, "no touching" might significantly reduce the # of scratches I get in
the resident camp pool from being mauled by my cubs. Hmmmmmmmm, this might
work better than mandatory fingernail inspection/clipping before getting in
the pool (my only non-BSA rule at this year's camp).
