The point is that there was no reason given on writing for the
revocation, is this OK with you?
One thing that I can read clearly is that the decision was made without
the volunteer being present, and without any recourse.
The old quote from the concentration camp victim comes to mind, first
they came for the sick...but I wasn't sick, so I said nothing...et.
As for being on this list, Scouting magazine isn't exactly an open
forum, the rec.scouting groups are too contaminated with non scouts, I
think this is the only place it can be discussed without shouting or
harassing. As for the purity of his agenda, that remains to be seen.
I too have some questions about this case, and it may likely turn out
that the Council had good justification for it's actions. However, if
we are to follow the leaders of this movement, then it is our
responsibility to know where we are being led, and why.
