My two pennies say let the boys do what they want. I believe that BSA
asks us adults to run a Scouting program within the guidelines BSA
establishes and within safety limits. Anything else should be left up
to the boys. I know of no prohibition on camping chairs. If one of
the Scouting methods is adult association (read: setting the example)
and I bring my chair, aren't I acknowledging the fact that the boys
ought to be able to bring their chairs?
