Ed, that's good to know. First blush concern was
potential need to change books during the program
cycle or thinking they were done and finding out
we did a badge "wrong".

Perhaps I'm mistaken in my thinking. I had
thought that it was either 6 months since completing
the fourth grade OR six months since becoming 10
Our Webelos Scouts all turn 10 prior to Thanksgiving
holiday of fourth grade, which puts them at 6 months
past ten before the 4th grade year lets out next
If I'm mistaken, then that will be the reasonable
piece of chain needed to hold them back w/o feeling
guilty about it. Not eager to move them up in a
troop before Spring 2000, but don't want them to
lose interest either. Right now, as parents, we are
thinking advancement to occur at the B&G during Feb.
of 5th year. That seems about right.

Thanks for this reference. Much like this list,
I have another new reference tool to explore now.
While I wish I had heard about this list before the
past couple of weeks, I'm one sold fan at this time.
