I'm thinking of setting up a system where patrols get some kind of token
each time they hold a patrol meeting, perform a patrol service project,
meet minumum uniform requirements at troop meetings, win an inter-patrol
competition, etc. I'll probably use beads, which they'll string on a
leather lace tied to their patrol flag. The first patrol to get a
certain number of beads, or the patrol that gets the most beads in a set
period of time, gets a more tangible reward--I'll buy them pizza for
their next patrol meeting, cook them blueberry pancakes for breakfast at
the next campout, or take them to the beach.
I like your idea of a special token for the service patrol.
