Thanks ever so much, Branden, for the additional information:
(from my posting):
>>The Council of Chiefs, the section and regional
>>chiefs along with the National Chief and National Vice-Chief of the
>>Order of the Arrow (assisted by two professionals and six adult >>volunteers)
>Actually, "Council of Chiefs" generally refers to the section leadership in
>the Order of the Arrow.
>Additionally, the Section Chief may be invited to participate in an annual
>meeting to plan the Order's program of emphasis for the upcoming year.
>These meetings take place in December, and are called the National
>Conference Committee (if planning a National Order of the Arrow
>conference, which happens every two years), or the Assembly of Chiefs, >in
I was looking for "Assembly of Chiefs". Thanks!!
>The OA is led professionally by a National Director and Associate >National
Director, who are national staff members, as well as a National >Committee
of volunteer leaders. Although I don't have an exact count >with me here, I
know there are far more than 6 adult volunteers on that >committee --
probably upwards of 20.
I was counting the four Regional OA Chairs and the two national OA
volunteers. Counting other longtime OA Subcomittee members like Tom Thom
(from Louisville) and others, yeah, I can see the numbers go upward.
Thanks for the number count!!

National Committee for policy and procedure changes.
Again, thanks for the additional information and for the clarification on
what the OA's youth leadership does during NOAC years (like this one) and
