Yes there is a formal procedure. First you move to Garden City Kansas so
you can be part of the Buffalo Range District Committee. This is a
requirement of all who wish to volunteer to District and Council
But in reality if you want to help out in the upper level, you can do
some of the following: Unit Commissioner, District Commissioner,
District Committee Member doing a wide array of different positions that
are begging to be filled.
The best person to talk to is, of course, your DE or District Committee
Chairman. I am sure they are in need of a volunteer like yourself.
As you can see in my sig, I am at the troop, Council, and District
levels of Scouting.
