The question was raised regarding how long financial records should be
maintained for a troop. From my experiences when I lived in the States, I
would recommened keeping all financial records for at least seven (7)
years. As a general rule, the Internal Revenue Service can, if they
choose to do so, ask to view all financial records up to seven years ago,
and if you fail to produce those records...well, you in a heap o'
