Sorry, but I don't buy into that "it was someone elses, not mine". That is
an old excuse and an easy way out to blame it on someone else. My children
do that every day. "He did it." " She did it." Don't blame it on the
pretty girl. That's just like a guy.
The boy should have flatly refused to even touch the stuff, he knew what the
stuff was. The old story applies here:
You knew I was a snake when you picked me up.
He made an unwise decision and now he'll have to pay the consquences. Sad
but true. It was not Scout-like to be in the company of people like that.
Maybe he can get witnesses to vouch for his character.
