Ron's story reminds me of the one about Alfred Hitchcock. When he was about
7 or 8 he misbehaved. His father asked him to take a note over to the local
police station & give it to the officer in charge. The cop read it and
tossed the boy in a cell. About 15 minutes later he let him out and said
"That's what happens to naughty little boys".
Child abuse? Anyway, maybe it explains some of the things in his movies.
