Howver, he didn't happen to explain what the meaning of the acronym "kybo"
was. This term is not universally in use around the country: I never heard
it in Massachusetts when I was at Camp Child there, nor do I hear it at Des
Plaines Valley Council's summer camps.
I found out when I was on staff for one year at Owasippee Scout Reservation
(Chicago Area Council). It was there that I learned that homesick kids, or
Scouts who didn't drink enough water, could end up having a problem. You
needed to make sure that you would Keep Your Bowels Open!
