This is almost as old as the hills. It is complete and utter horsepucky. I
worked for a long time in critical care including organ transport and
transplant, and I can assure you that this is not the way to obtain organs
acceptable for transplant. Sometimes this cautionary tale includes realistic-
sounding details like the organs are meant for some overseas third-world
country dictator's family members, or some such. All nonsense. Only some
semblance of decorum prevents me from using much stronger language.
I implore all list members NOT to forward this any further. And tell your
daughter to see if she can recall to whom she sent it, so she can send a
