Interesting. This sure will cause some comment. I like it, taken as a
whole. I see no reason why Scouting should take a back seat to
everything else. I don't know if I'd have the guts to try it though.
The scouts (and parents) in the troop have no reason to complain. They
were told ahead of time, and if they find the "regulations" too
draconian, they can transfer to another troop. The only part of this
whithwhich I have any quarrel, is not advancing beyond your year group.
Sounds too much like "Outcome Based Education" to me, but that's another
topic that doesn't belong here.
Certainly gives food for thought. Their success rate can not be argued
