After having monitored SCOUTS-L for the past two years, I feel
it's time to introduce myself.
My name is Jack Howe. I am 48, married, and have a son
who wants to quit Scouts and and daughter who still is

Scout activities. Knowing that they want me to be the next

(PLC, Elected/appointed junior leaders, JLT, structured meetings
and outings, more involved parents, full calendar of activities,
etc.) They have until the end of May (our summer camp planning
deadline) to convince me that they want to be Scouts.
