Regarding the elimination of the den chief position, I must say that I am
totally against it. I was a den chief some time ago, and not because of my
own need for a position, but because the pack needed somebody who knew the
business and knew how to carry out the activities. I would like to see some
good reasons to erase that position, even if it is to place it in the scope
of another position such as the Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.
