I'm a new list member and I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself
before I dive right in with a question! I belong to Citrus Council of Girl
Scouts in Central Florida, and I've been a Girl Scout Troop leader for five
years. I serve as our service unit's Publicity Specialist and I have served
as Troop Coordinator in the past. I'm an active member of the WAGGGS-L list
and have learned that if you want "real" information, the list is where it's at!
This past fall, my son became a Tiger Cub and I became his partner. I've
been very active in the Den, and so naturally, I joined SCOUTS-L. <g> Glad
to be here.
The question I have is about the Tiger Program. Has anyone found any sites
on the Web that give program ideas in conjunction with Tiger Cub Big Ideas?
I've found several sites that rehash (verbatim) what the Big Ideas are, but
none that offer suggestions other than what's in the book. I'd like to know
what other Tiger Dens have done for their Big Idea Den activities. What
activities were successful and which ones failed? Which ones did the boys
have fun with and which ones bored them? If anybody has any ideas, I'd be
glad to compile them and either post them to the list or send them privately
to interested parties. Any takers?
