Oh, yes! I believe BSA is beginning to follow what I call the Great
Homogenizing Process. I further describe it as downplaying leadership
ability and pushing mediocrity and equality as the desired goal. The process
is evident in the use of "Pass/Fail" grades and the "Morals Don't Count"
philosophy by today's society, to name but two.
OTOH it will always be easy to determine the leaders; they are the ones who
aren't standing with the crowd.
