Well, when it comes to snoring I am classified in the heavy duty
class. The solution in our troop has been twofold. First, I
carry my own tent and sleep by myself (even did this at Philmont, it
kept the bears away). The second part is that the boys pick the
location for my tent. Usually witin sight but out of hearing range.
As to the second point, one night last year we got in late and
I didn't look too closely at the location they picked for me. It
was right in the middle of a deer run and they knew it! Right
about 2am it really got exciting in my tent. I got my revenge,
I cooked breakfast for all my helpers. Ha!
But, I warn everyone in the troop, scouts and adults alike. If you
camp with me, bring your earplugs.
Have a good one,
