I have some technical questions for the group on BSA Unit Chartering.
Can a unit that is chartered in one BSA Council, only because
of geographic location, transfer their charter to a nearby,
neighboring, Council that doesn't cover their geographic location?
Or do you have to stay in the Council that your town/city is in?
If you can transfer a charter to a neighboring Council within
your own state, can you transfer a charter to a bordering state
Does anyone know the official BSA rules for this situation?
I was asked to post this to SCOUTS-L and find some answers for
someone without Internet access. Thank you for your answers
