I think it is a matter of balance and need.
If you only do 12 activities per year, 1 fundraiser might seem appropriate.
If you do 50 activities per year, 1 fundraiser might not do the job.
I think the unit first needs to define it's program, then design the
fundraising mechanism required to finance it. That should be the driving
factor in determining the number of fundraisers a unit has.
Actually, I've never heard of a national recommendation to have only one
